This item represents a Buncheong ware object used as a case study for examining how photographic conditions affect the representation of surface texture, specular highlights, colour information, and materiality in 2D digital images. Two front-view media records are attached to this item: a control condition image produced under direct bilateral softbox lighting, and a variable condition image produced using bounce lighting and a reflector. Together, these media records demonstrate how paradata can explain visual differences between images of the same object.
