Description
-
This item represents a celadon object used as a case study for examining how photographic conditions affect the representation of glaze reflection, surface detail, colour depth, and materiality in 2D digital images. Two front-view media records will be attached to this item: a control condition image produced under direct bilateral softbox lighting, and a variable condition image produced using reflector-assisted indirect lighting. Together, these media records demonstrate how paradata can explain the visual effects of reflection control and colour stabilisation in images of a glossy ceramic surface.
