Detailed Observation

In the control condition image, bright and even illumination reduces tonal separation between the inner and outer edges of the rim. As a result, its thickness, rounded profile, and subtle irregularities appear relatively flat.

In the variable condition image, directional light creates stronger tonal differentiation along the rim. The transition between its illuminated upper edge and darker outer surface makes the thickness, curvature, and three-dimensional profile easier to perceive.

These differences reflect changes in photographic conditions rather than changes in the ceramic object itself.
